This is all really good and practical advice. But honestly I really just had to comment and say I never realised qigong was a real thing, I just thought they made it up when Helen Daniel’s did it in Neighbours 😂

Love all of this. I have finally learned to leave earlier for appointments and enjoy the time if I arrive earlier to take stock or relax or plan or reset myself for the next thing I am about to go into so I maximise it -whether it is a work meeting or a doctors appointment or seeing a friend. Happy settling back from holidays.

I still really struggle to do this for some reason - it's hard to break the habit of a lifetime. I'm (slowly) getting better at it though

Well I am a good couple of decades on from you so lol can’t say it didn’t take me a long while to change! And that’s it isn’t it - making a start with small steps and we can begin to change a habit especially if we can see some rewards. I’ve still got quite a few habits to change eek. But life would be boring if there weren’t some challenges.

I love this! I liked the way you clearly define “busy” as well! Excited to read more of your stuff!!

First week back from holiday and I've consciously reminded myself to slow down when I think about it - brushing my teeth, eating dinner...just where am I rushing to anyway? xo

Exactly! My mum always used to say "more haste, less speed", and now I'm finding that doing things more slowly and calmly might actually make me *more* productive 🤯
