How thinking about death can change your life
Have you ever been in a job where you feel undervalued and under-appreciated? Then, when you finally hand in your notice, your boss does a speech at your leaving do that showers you in so much praise, it makes you feel as if you actually want to stay after all - while also making you feel pretty frustrated that no one said this while you worked your arse off every day for the past three years?
I can’t help thinking this is a bit like how people talk about you after you die.
It’s a real shame that people don’t get to hear all of the nice things that others say about them once they’re dead.
