Kids who hate PE at school grow into adults that don't exercise. Here's how to overcome it
Another excellent read.
I was an energetic person throughout school and adulthood. I was also an evening snacker, kidding on that this was OK, since I exercised regularly. My (over)weight remained much the same over the years. However, because of increasing pain in the last year (arthritis), I stopped going to the local swimming pool, opted out of yoga and Pilates sessions. My increasing weight became a source of concern. When I read up about arthritis, exercise was heavily advised, particularly weight bearing activities. I found a very good exercise website and, along with healthier eating, I now exercise daily, have started to lose weight and intend to reapply for the swim and gym membership, now that pain is manageable. I’m sure that daily enjoyable exercise, as well as a positive mindset, has played a huge part in continued wellbeing.
I look forward to your next article!
