It makes sense I guess - gym membership is cheaper than ever, Primark sells compression leggings, and pumped-up gym bro bods are de rigueur. Add in some spendy branding, pseudo wellness jargon plus an emotional/intellectual connection - et voila, an exercise form that's certainly not for the hoi polloi...

The FitOn app is fabulous which you can stream onto your Apple TV. It has all manner of exercise one can do at home. Having said that I realised i detest working out at home so now go to the gym as it’s me time therefore I should be enjoying it..☺️ … I think every generation has an exercise hype. I recall (30 years ago, she whispers) when Callanetics was ‘the one’.. and I got on board furiously working out to the video whilst my son slept .. at the end of the day it’s all a mindset which you lose occasionally don’t you think .. and then scramble back on board .😎
